I tried Kohaku in Kawasaki for the first time — it's priced higher than even the ultra-luxury shops in Yoshiwara (except Shogun).

It might have just been a time with fewer staff on duty.

When you're shown to your room there's a short inner corridor in front of each private room with a restroom there.

It's the first time I've seen a shop where each room has its own toilet.

The rooms are also very spacious.

The size and luxury are so impressive it made me think about how they differentiate themselves even at this level.

In Yoshiwara, due to location and building constraints, even high-priced shops can feel cramped and lack a luxurious atmosphere, but this shop is truly top-class in terms of luxury.

It's even more spacious than the larger rooms at Louvre in Yoshiwara.
